It's all about the right connections. Done properly, the connections can be truly electric - truly able to power something,
to shed light - to make something happen. David Owens is all about the right connections, passionate and dedicated to bringing
small and midsize businesses the same type of marketing expertise and strategy typically reserved for those organizations with
more dollars than sense.
Before plugging in to Justice & Young, Owens was an advocate for small business during his nine year tenure
with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce. Then, as now, he puts client objectives first and gets forward thinking
business executives to look at their marketing more strategically and focus on core business objectives of growth and results.
But, this drive comes to Dave naturally.
The self proclaimed "Navy Brat" has the distinction of pulling up anchor from Hawaii for Cincinnati, having
lived in several states along the way. The Georgian, Floridian, Californian, Hawaiian, Virginian still has no idea what
a "five way" is, and if you need David to repeat himself, don't say "please," because he'll say "your welcome." But, when you
need to get plugged in to the business community, be energized by powerful marketing strategy, become current with new
marketing technologies, and get connected to buyers - David is the conduit.
Owens is the director of new business development with Justice & Young Advertising and Public Relations.
He is the former director of programs with the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he managed educational programs,
design to expose business owners to leading edge growth strategies, tactics, and experts. He holds his BA in history and
classical studies from Denison University and MA in general administration from the University of Maryland.
